Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to verodus.com and governs data collection and usage.

Verodus website provides digital evaluation services and related online products. By using the Verodus website, you consent to the data practices described in this Statement and all extensions and addendums to this Statement.

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Personal Data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Data Controller

For purposes of applicable data protection laws, Verodus LLC, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates, is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

(1). Collection of Your Personal Information

In order to better provide you with products and services offered, Verodus may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:

  • First and Last Name
  • Home Address
  • Mailing Address
  • E-mail Address
  • Phone Number
  • Financial Information
  • Government-Issued Identification & Biometric Data (for KYC/AML compliance)

Verodus collects only the minimum personal data necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Verodus takes reasonable steps to ensure that personal data collected is accurate, complete, and kept up to date. Users are responsible for notifying Verodus of any changes to their personal information.

If you purchase Verodus products and services, we collect billing, cryptocurrency wallet addresses, and credit card information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction or issue payments to you. Blockchain transactions are publicly visible and permanently recorded. Verodus does not control third-party blockchain explorers. Where blockchain wallet addresses can be reasonably linked to an identifiable individual, Verodus treats such information as personal data. We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services. These may include:

(a) registering for an account;

(b) verifying your identity to prevent financial crime;

(c) signing up for special offers from selected third parties;

(d) sending us an email message;

(e) submitting your payment information when ordering products and services.

To wit, we will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future for the same purpose, including behavioral data (such as trade timestamps, strategy patterns, and P&L performance metrics) to monitor for prohibited trading practices, internal risk management, and platform abuse. Verodus does not use trading behavior data to replicate, commercialize, or exploit user trading strategies externally. Personal data may also be processed for internal risk modeling, margin management, fraud detection, chargeback prevention, dispute management, and platform integrity protection.

(2). Sensitive Personal Data & Biometric Information

Verodus may collect government-issued identification and biometric data (such as facial recognition images) for the purposes of identity verification, fraud prevention, and compliance with KYC/AML regulations. This data is collected and processed through authorized third-party verification providers. Verodus does not independently store raw biometric templates except where legally required. Biometric data is processed by authorized third-party identity verification providers and retained only as required under applicable AML regulations. All sensitive data is encrypted, access-restricted, and handled only by authorized personnel of these providers or Verodus compliance staff. Verodus does not use biometric or government-issued identification data for marketing purposes. Where required, Verodus conducts risk assessments regarding high-risk processing activities.

(3). Use of Your Personal Information

Verodus collects and uses your personal information to operate and deliver the services you have requested. Verodus may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Verodus and its affiliates, as well as to fulfill our legal obligations regarding Risk Management and international Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. Verodus does not provide brokerage services, custody services, investment advisory services, or financial portfolio management.

(4). Legal Basis for Processing (EEA/UK Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, Verodus processes your personal data under one or more of the following lawful bases:

  • Performance of a contract – where processing is necessary to create and maintain your account, provide evaluation services, process payments, or deliver funded account services.
  • Compliance with legal obligations – including Know-Your-Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), fraud monitoring, sanctions screening, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Legitimate interests – including risk management, fraud prevention, trading behavior analysis, platform security, service improvements, internal risk modeling, and business development. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, Verodus has conducted a balancing assessment to ensure that such interests are not overridden by your fundamental rights and freedoms.
  • Consent – where you have explicitly consented to receive marketing communications or to the use of optional cookies.

Users in the EEA and UK have the right to lodge a complaint with their local Data Protection Authority regarding our processing of their personal data.

(5). Your Data Protection Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the following rights:

  • Right of access
  • Right to rectification
  • Right to erasure
  • Right to restrict processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object
  • Right to withdraw consent
  • Right not to be subject solely to automated decision-making

(6). Data Retention

Verodus retains personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, including to comply with legal, tax, regulatory, and AML/KYC obligations. KYC and AML-related records may be retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the end of the business relationship or longer where required by applicable law. Upon account closure, personal data will be retained only as necessary to comply with legal, regulatory, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and recordkeeping obligations.

(7). Sharing Information with Third Parties

Verodus does not sell personal information in exchange for monetary compensation and does not share personal data for independent third-party marketing without explicit user consent. Any sharing of personal information with third parties is limited to service providers, compliance partners, analytics providers, or trusted business partners for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Verodus may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, process payments, conduct identity verification, host data, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Verodus, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. A list of key subprocessors may be made available upon request.

Verodus may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to conform to the edicts of the law or protect and defend the rights or property of Verodus.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to applicable data protection laws.

Trader P&L, trading strategies, and behavior data may be shared internally only with risk management and compliance personnel to assess platform risk exposure, determine margin adjustments, and prevent prohibited trading activity. This information is not shared externally.

(8). International Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of your country of residence, including but not limited to the United Arab Emirates and the United States. Where required, Verodus implements appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms. Where applicable, Verodus will notify relevant supervisory authorities, including the UAE Data Office where applicable, and affected data subjects in accordance with GDPR requirements. Functions hosted internationally may include analytics, storage, and customer support.

(9). Tracking User Behavior

Verodus may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within Verodus, in order to determine what Verodus services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content within Verodus and to improve user experience. Behavioral tracking may also inform internal risk management, margin adjustments, and trading compliance assessments.

(10). User Profiles & Public Visibility

Where applicable, Verodus may allow users to create optional profiles or public trading statistics. Users can control the visibility of their personal or account information on the platform. Any publicly visible information is shared only according to your preferences and can be modified or deleted at any time.

Verodus may also publish anonymized or aggregated user statistics (such as leaderboard rankings or performance metrics). No personally identifiable information will be disclosed without explicit consent. Users may request removal from any public leaderboard or aggregated statistics.

(11). Automated Decision-Making & Profiling

Verodus may use automated systems and analytical tools to monitor trading behavior, account activity, or other violations of our Terms and Conditions. These automated processes may flag, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts pending further review. Automated systems are subject to human oversight. Significant account actions are not based solely on automated processing without human review where required by law. Where required by applicable law, you may request human review of an automated decision that materially affects your account.

Automated processes may also be used to adjust trader risk limits, drawdown thresholds, or margin requirements internally as part of risk management.

(12). Automatically Collected Information

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by Verodus. This information can include your IP address, browser type, device fingerprints, domain names, access times, and referring website addresses. Device information may include identifiers generated to detect fraud, prevent multi-account abuse, and protect platform integrity. This information is used for the operation of services, to maintain the quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding the use of the Verodus website.

(13). Use of Cookies

Verodus website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance user experience, ensure website functionality, analyze traffic, and support marketing activities. Cookies may include essential cookies, analytics cookies, and marketing cookies (where consent is required). Where required by law, non-essential cookies are deployed only after user consent. Users may manage cookie preferences through browser settings or cookie consent tools made available on the website.

(14). Security of Your Personal Information

Verodus secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Verodus uses network segmentation, AES-256 encryption for data at rest, ongoing security monitoring, vulnerability management, and periodic security assessments designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Internal Access Controls: Access to sensitive data, including trading behavior and P&L information, is restricted to authorized risk and compliance personnel. Multi-factor authentication and access logs are maintained for all internal staff accessing personal or sensitive data.

(15). SSL Protocol & Data Breaches

When personal information is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as SSL or TLS 1.3. In the event of a high-risk security breach, Verodus will notify affected users via email and report to the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours where required by applicable law.

(16). Right to Deletion & California Disclosures

Subject to certain exceptions and applicable law, California residents have the right to:

  • Delete your personal information from our records
  • Direct service providers to delete your personal information
  • Opt-out of the sale or sharing of their personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (where applicable)

California residents may submit requests to opt-out of the sale or sharing of their personal information for behavioral advertising purposes by completing our online CCPA/CPRA request form or by emailing support@verodus.com with the subject line "CCPA Opt-Out Request". All requests will be processed in accordance with the CCPA/CPRA.

(17). Children Under Thirteen & Age of Majority

Verodus does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Services are strictly intended for individuals at least 18 years of age.

(18). Opt-Out & Unsubscribe from Third Party Communications

We respect your privacy and give you an opportunity to opt out of receiving announcements of certain information. Users may opt-out of receiving any or all communications from third-party partners of Verodus by contacting us at support@verodus.com.

In addition to standard communications, Verodus may offer platform-based notifications regarding community or social trading activity, events, or contests. You can opt out of these communications while maintaining account functionality, except for mandatory compliance or transactional notifications.

(19). E-mail & Automated Communications

From time to time, Verodus may contact you via email or SMS for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, AI-automated drawdown alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication.

(20). Marketing Consent & Transactional Communications

Where required by law, marketing communications will only be sent where you have provided consent. Please note that transactional or service-related communications (including account alerts, compliance notifications, drawdown alerts, and security updates) are necessary for the operation of your account and cannot be opted out of while maintaining an active account.

Users may manage marketing preferences for different categories of communications (e.g., product updates, promotional offers, surveys) via account settings or by contacting support@verodus.com. Consent can be withdrawn at any time without affecting account operations.

(21). External Data Storage

We may store your data on servers provided by third-party hosting vendors (such as AWS) with whom we have contracted.

(22). UAE Data Protection Compliance

Verodus processes personal data in accordance with applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates, including Federal Decree Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL), where applicable.

(23). Changes to this Statement

Verodus reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. Your continued use of the website and/or Services available after such modifications will constitute your acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy and agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.
